The letters A, B and O may not seem very important to you but for a patient in the hospital needing blood, it's everything.
Only 3 out of 100 Americans donate blood, yet every two seconds someone needs it. Fewer people are donating blood to help patients. You can change that by signing up to give blood on July 18th from 8:15 am to 2:15pm.
By donating blood you’ll help kids battling cancer, accident victims, and patients fighting life-threatening conditions. You’ll also partner alongside celebrities, iconic brands, donors, volunteers, and families raising awareness about why blood donations are crucial. No matter your blood type, we need you. Together, we can fill the missing types.
Our blood drive on May 2, 2020 only produced 34 units of blood. Our record is 72. Let's blow that number away for our Summer Blood Drive. Sign up today by clicking the link below. Sponsor Code is: holyspirit

To help families live out the joy of Christ, Supreme Chaplain Archbishop William E. Lori has composed a prayer through which families will come together to consecrate themselves under the protection of the Holy Family. In this prayer, we ask for the aid or intercession of the perfect son Jesus Christ, Mary the perfect mother, and Joseph who is a model for every father. Councils will guide their parishes and community to understand and offer this important and impactful prayer. Preparing for the Consecration to the Holy Family is not a single event. It is choosing a way of life for your family. Through this consecration, each participant is consciously choosing to be a beacon of God’s love through his Church.
Helping to strengthen our families and to revitalize our pariish. Council 7891 will invite each family at Holy Spirit to consecrate themselves to the Holy Family and to devote themselves to the ideal model of familial love set by Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
See one of our Knights after each Mass to purchase a Wreath. We'll be stationed in the Narthex.
The Knights of Columbus offers multiple activities that promote Christmas and the season of Advent in their proper context: Journey to the Inn, Light Up for Christ, Crèche or Advent Wreath Blessing, and the Christmas Poster Contest. These programs are centered on the example of the Holy Family and the Nativity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The new Keep Christ in Christmas program brings all related activities together under one umbrella. It encourages councils to compel their neighbors to shift from a preoccupation with materialism to the light of Christ and the spirit of giving. Activities include whatever efforts best suit the parish and community of a particular council and do not need to originate from the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council.
Voting for 3 age groups will be held after each Mass on December 14th and 15th.
Promote the true spirit of Christmas in our homes, schools, parishes and communities. Knights of Columbus councils evangelize society through their faithful acts, celebrations and a variety of activities.
