Knight of the Month

Dennis Durco - Dennis came to the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Babies and noticed we were short of volunteers. Dennis stepped up and assisted elderly to the grave site and helped with clean up. Dennis, you are a true Catholic Gentleman and we're fortunate to have in our Council.

Family of the Month

The Piaskowski's - Rosalee Piaskowski (pictured far right) is not a Knight, nor is her husband. But, that did not prevent them from receiving the Family of the Month Award. Rosalee worked very hard to arrange a beautiful ceremony recognizing the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Babies. The day included a Mass offering for aborted babies, a procession to the grave site, notable speakers, readings by Deacon Loewe and a release of a dove to remember all aborted babies. Holy Spirit Cemetery is one of five burial places for an aborted child in Michigan. For more information about the National Day of Remembrance for aborted babies, click here
